Who Is P-NUT?

P-NUT is a family-run clothing brand, originally launched in 2019 by Roo & Ed. What started around a dining table in North London has grown alongside our family – and today, we’re a busy household of six, with four kids at the heart of everything we do.

Inspired by graffiti culture and a love for bold, personal style, we set out to create something different: custom clothing that actually feels unique, made with care, and still accessible.  

Ed (aka Opake) brings the art – hand-drawing every design from scratch, rooted in years of graffiti experience. Roo brings the organisation, creativity and behind-the-scenes magic to turn those ideas into wearable pieces you can make your own.

And then there’s the real driving force behind P-NUT… our kids.

What started with our eldest (whose nickname inspired the brand name) has grown into a full-on family operation. From testing ideas and choosing colours, to modelling, packing orders and keeping us on our toes – they’re part of every step.

As our family has grown, so has the brand. What hasn’t changed is how we do things:

• Everything is still designed and made in-house
• Every piece is hand-drawn – no fonts, no shortcuts
• And every order is created with the same care as day one

P-NUT is about individuality, creativity, and not taking things too seriously. It’s about wearing something that actually means something – whether it’s your name, your kid’s nickname, or something that just makes you smile.

We’re still a small, hands-on family business – just a slightly louder, busier one these days.
